VEM are endorsers to the Motor Challenge programme initiated by the major European countries aimed at optimising the energy consumption of the complete system . The exhibition provided a unique opportunity to meet key personnel from industry involved in energy related issues.
VEM exhibited a small selection of their products including ENERGY EFFICIENT motors to the CEMEP Eff 1 standard. This range of motors are also included in the UK Energy Technology list that qualify for the Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme.
Other products such as the M21R compact motor with built in Invertor were also displayed and also attracted a lot of interest. These motors are suitable for a wide speed variation and constant torque load. The significant benefit is the reduction in installation time and costs. The drives are fully programmable.
Mr Ralph Crocker, Managing Director, said that whilst this was VEM’s first time at this Exhibition, he was quite pleased with the level and quality of enquires which they received. A number of meetings had already been arranged with potential customers who had requested further information
